In line with its determination to schooling and human capital development, NLNG invitations programs from first year college students withinside the 2024/2025 instructional consultation for the 2024 Undergraduate Scholarship Award.

The NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship initiative is designed to support exceptional first-year students (in 2024/2025 academic session) in Nigerian Universities, equipping them with the resources to excel academically and contribute to national development.

NLNG is committed to promoting an inclusive scholarship program and encourages all qualified students, including those with disabilities, to apply.

Eligibility Requirements for NLNG Scholarship 2024 To be eligible for the

NLNG Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

You must be a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and currently residing in the country.
You must be currently enrolled as a full-time first-year student in an undergraduate programme at a recognised Federal or State University in Nigeria in the 2024/2025 academic year.
You must have sat either WASC, SSCE or NECO and have obtained at least five O-level credits including Mathematics and English Language.

Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years of age at the time of application.
Cannot be a recipient of any other scholarship, grant or subsidy from any other organization.
Cannot be the spouse, child, ward or close relative of an NLNG employee.

Additionally, applicants from Host Communities;

Must be a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and an indigene of any of the host communities of NLNG.
Must present a valid identity card issued by their respective host municipality and local government councils.

Required Documents

To apply, candidates must be willing to submit the following documents:

Complete the application form
A passport size photograph (450 x 450 pixels, not exceeding 200KB) not older than three months on a white background
O-level and UTME results
University Admission Letter and JAMB
University Student ID
Birth Certificate issued by the National Population Commission
Local Government Area (LGA) Identity Card
National Identification Number (NIN) Receipt

For students in the host community.

Local Government Area (LGA) Identification Letter
Complete transcript from 100 level to the latest academic year, signed and sealed by the university registrar, examination department or relevant authority
Community Identification Letter signed by the Chairman of the Community Development Committee (CDC) or the Paramount Ruler/King.
